Dr. Jennifer Collins grew up in Shillington, PA. She graduated in 2008 from Penn State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Animal BioScience. She then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Collins began her career at Citywide Animal Clinic in Scranton Pa. After one year she decided to move closer to home and started at Honeybrook Animal hospital, a clinic she had previously worked at before graduating vet school. She worked in Honeybrook for three years learning more about emergency medicine and surgery. Dr. Collins joined our Oley Valley team in October 2017. She has special interest in preventative medicine and building strong client relationships. Dr. Collins currently has one fur baby, her cat, Wicca and a Betta named Cosmo. Her interests outside of work include racquetball, cooking, reading, and swimming.
